Terrorists, guns, and travel bans

While Americans are ~50 times more likely to die from a random gunshot than from terrorism, affluent Whites in New York and Washington are instead only a dozen times as likely.  As recognized widely including the Chicago Tribune, African Americans in that city incorrectly garble these “hundreds of times more probable” numbers that circulate from senseless critics.  And when terror from a foreigner strikes, it is ~1:4 chance to originate from one of President Trump’s 7 out-of-favor nations.  For example, a 2016 Senate study shows that since 9/11, 72 imprisoned terrorists have come from these countries (usually as evacuees or other times prolonged their visas).  With >100 arriving since the travel ban was upturned in recent weeks, hats off to them.  But also, 1 ardent terrorist has now undoubtedly slipped into the U.S.
