Dear friends, Just wanted to update you that the Statistics Topics ebook was just released. If you have enjoyed reading this Statistical Ideas web log and portal, then you might be interested in the book. The ebook is a little different than the print version (which has periodically been a Top 5 Best Seller in a math reference, science, and business category), since Kindle doesn't have the capability to handle most formulaic symbols nor tables, both of which are needed for a better pedagogical review of probability and statistics concepts.
Nonetheless, right now it has been within the Top 25 Kindle Best Seller in all of mathematics (and both the print and ebook have been ranked #1 on Hot New Releases in probability and statistics, and business economics statistics). This is also coming before potential society book reviews, and before students return to class this autumn. Enjoy the summer, and hope that it's nourishing on many fronts. Will be positing more web log notes, in the weeks ahead.
You can click on this link to see the book site (soon searchable at Barnes & Nobles):
